Machine embroidery and digitizing have become a passion for me over the last four or five years. As an artist living in Western Australia, my days (and nights!) are spent designing, digitizing, embroidering and developing projects. My taste tends towards flowing classical lines but I like to stylise the traditional shapes and I also love to create designs with great textural interest which have a tendency to appear hand embroidered.

I often like to incorporate my own digitized designs along with free machining, appliqueing and quilting all in the same project and you can see some examples of this concept on my Thread Art page.
